The Deal
Summer housing is available for students attending UCSB and SBCC's summer sessions.
The cost includes a double occupancy (2 people per bedroom) space in a fully furnished unit, all utilities, including high speed WiFi, water, gas and electric. The total cost of housing is due upon contract signing.
Optional meal plans are available.

* - SBCC Summer Session housing will begin at Tropicana Del Norte and residents will move to Tropicana Villas once space becomes available.

The Locations
Depending on the length of your stay you may be required to move at least once during the summer. If you require housing outside of the session dates above, you will be required to move. We will do what we can to minimize the inconvenience associated with any moves, but we want you to know what to expect. Extensions and early arrivals may be added for an additional nightly fee (double $60.00).
Housing for Summer 2023 will be at the following locations:
TROPICANA DEL NORTE - Beginning of SBCC Summer Session, before moving to Villas
Del Norte features 3-bedroom/2-bathroom suites with an onsite front desk, rec room, theater, fitness center, laundry room and café if you choose to purchase a meal plan.
TROPICANA VILLAS will be home for SBCC - Summer Session, UCSB Sessions A, B, A&B and C students.
Villas features 2-bedroom/2-bathroom fully furnished apartments complete with kitchen, as well as an onsite rec room and laundry room as access to the Del Norte amenities.
Rates are subject to change if not signed/submitted. Complete your summer contract to lock in rates.

Cancellation
If you choose to cancel your contract before your selected start date, you will be charged a $350 cancellation fee, and the remainder will be refunded to you. If you cancel after your selected start date, no refund will be issued.

You can register for summer housing by completing the contract process through MyTropAccount. Register your account and then use the Summer Sessions link to apply.
